Tina Warnock

Tina set up Belltree in 2009 in response to the lack of music therapy provision in Brighton & Hove and Sussex. Following a degree in Social Psychology and several years as a singer / songwriter, Tina qualified as a Registered Music Therapist in 2000. Since then she has worked in Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Child Development services in the NHS, special school settings and with a wide range of private clients. She leads the service at Belltree alongside her music therapy and vocal psychotherapy clinical work, and supervision practice, and is a visiting lecturer for the MA Music Therapy course at Roehampton University.
Tina’s special area of interest is voice work in music therapy. She has published several pieces of work focusing on Voice and the Self and has completed training in the advanced music therapy method, Vocal Psychotherapy. She set up an International Training course in this method based on depth psychology and trauma theory, with Dr. Diane Austin in 2018. Tina runs voice workshops and regularly gives talks on the benefits of singing to wellbeing.
