Mandy Pearce

Mandy qualified as a music therapist in 2008 from Roehampton University. She went on to complete the MA in Music Therapy in 2010, focusing on researching and evidencing the various ways in which music can enhance brain development and rework attachment relationships. Working as a freelance in numerous settings Mandy has had extensive experience of working with children and adults in both individual and group settings, as well as with families, with complex Learning Disabilities, ASC, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, Trauma and in Palliative care. She works in as a music therapist in various settings including mainstream and special schools, day centres and in private homes. Mandy has completed the NMT (Neurologic Music Therapy) and MATADOC (Music Therapy Assessment Tool for Awareness in Disorders of Consciousness) trainings and works with ABI and CBI patients of all ages using structured NMT techniques and song writing.
