Lorraine McIntyre

Lorraine qualified as a Music Therapist in summer 2019 from Roehampton University, having completed a Bachelor of music degree at Royal Holloway University of London and a PGCE in secondary music several years earlier. Between studies, Lorraine has had extensive experience working with adults with mental health challenges, including running music groups and music studio sessions in a homelessness service. During her MA in music therapy, Lorraine undertook placements running music therapy for adults with dementia, pre-school children with special educational needs and a third placement running a group for young adults with first episode psychosis. Since completing her MA, Lorraine has been running a music therapy project working with victims of human trafficking. HCPC registration AS 16833.
