Tina set up Belltree in 2009 in response to the lack of music therapy provision in Brighton & Hove and Sussex. She has been an HCPC Registered Music Therapist since 2000, working in a wide range of NHS and education settings in London and the Brighton area. She leads the service at Belltree alongside her clinical work and supervision practice and is a visiting lecturer for the MA Music Therapy course at Roehampton University. She is also director for Vocal Psychotherapy UK, a training course in this advanced music therapy method, which she set up in 2017.
Catherine has worked in the community and voluntary sector since 2000. She started training as a Community and Youth worker when she lived in an inner city area of Birmingham and on moving to Brighton worked as a Community Development Worker in several areas of Brighton and Hove. Her work has awarded her recognition as a Model of Good Practice by Government Office of the South East. After a break to have a family she now brings her experience and enthusiasm to Belltree.
