Music Therapists are highly skilled musicians and clinicians who have completed a Master of Arts (MA)
level training in Music Therapy. All music therapists are registered with the
Health Professions Council (HPC).

Tina Warnock
Head of Service and Registered Music Therapist
Tina qualified as a music therapist in 2000. This followed a degree in Social Psychology from Sussex University in 1992,
five years working with children with disabilities and many years writing and performing music, and providing vocal tuition. She
has extensive music therapy experience with children and young people with learning difficulties, autism, speech and language
difficulties, emotional and behavioural issues and challenging behaviour. This includes six years in the NHS for a Child and
Adolescent Mental Health Service in London, seven years at Downs View Special School and Link College in Brighton, two years in
Elderly Mental Health, and one year in Adult Learning Disability Services. Tina set up the Belltree Music Therapy Centre in 2008.
Josie Peach
Registered Music Therapist
Josie qualified as a music therapist in 2006 from Roehampton University. This followed a BA Hons degree in Jazz Studies from Leeds
College of Music and many years experience as a secondary school music teacher, performer and instrumental teacher. Her music therapy
experience includes work with children who have communication disorders and autism, adults with mental health problems, adults and
children with learning disabilities and two years in a brain injury rehabilitation unit.
Linda Malone
Registered Music Therapist
Linda qualified as a music therapist in 1998. Previously Linda worked as a music teacher in primary schools for fifteen years and was
a professional percussionist and backing vocalist in jazz/soul bands for ten years. Her music therapy experience is in health and residential
settings with a wide range of adults and young people with communication problems, learning difficulties, autism, emotional and behavioural
problems. This includes five years for an Adult Mental Health NHS service.
Emily Macdonald
Registered Music Therapist
Emily qualified as a music therapist from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2008. Following her music degree at Napier University,
Edinburgh in 2001, Emily worked in arts administration alongside teaching piano and writing/performing as accompanist, soloist and in
ensembles. Her music therapy experience includes work with children and young people who have communication difficulties, learning
disabilities and emotional and behavioural difficulties, and adults with mental health problems.
Jacqui Attwood
Registered Music Therapist
Jacqui qualified as a music therapist in 2006 from Roehampton University. This followed a BA Hons degree in Popular Music and Recording
from Salford University graduating in 1996 and many years working as a recording engineer, performer, composer and instrumental teacher.
Her music therapy experience includes work with children and adults with communication disorders and ASD, adults with brain injuries,
adults with learning disabilities and elderly clients with dementia. She was also a volunteer for a Music Therapy project working with
clients suffering from post-war trauma in Bosnia.
